I discovered today that caulk can get pretty ineffective after a few years. I caulked the bathroom, and it actually appears to be melting off. Not only is it gross, but it’s going to test my patience. I thought this was going to done this week. Now I have to clean off all of the caulk, clean it a couple times, re-caulk, let that dry, then finally I can put the new vanity in. Worst part of all of this. . .I already re-installed my toilet. Hopefully I do a mostly effective job of caulking around it.
Also, white caulk was not the right color for the bathroom.
could your caulk have been froze somehow. I know that is North Carolina but it does run and doesn’t cover well if it had been froze. Just a thought.
