This is my favorite shot from our soccer tournament this weekend. This was our opening round game, and the only game I actually shot. I only got about 6 pictures from it as well, since we were mildly short handed throughout the tourney. This isn’t necessarily the highest quality shot, in fact I consider it to be one of the worst, if not the worst. What I love about it though, is the way the grass is kicking up as the opponent attempts a long pass into the box. It’s because of that that I use this one, since there were definitely better, crisper shots.
Alas, soccer’s done until the fall, so I have a summer of trying to stay in shape. We’ll see how that goes since we’re not playing Ultimate this season. The league my team is playing on in summer might be fun, but I probably wouldn’t be playing on that team since I missed the deadline. I’m looking forward to this fall because this season was easily my greatest degree of improvement.

I know what you mean about soccer being done until Fall. Nick finished his last game last night until fall. I really enjoy watching him and his teammates play. He gets better with every season. It is funny when I come to visit you and see the difference between adults and 11/12 years olds play. But still enjoyable at any age. It will be enjoyable when Ender is ready to play so when we come to visit we can come for a game to watch.
